Global Local Architecture: Arine Aprahamian | DIGITAL TALK (EN)Sustainable architecture requires a change of thinking: How can more regional materials be used? What role do local climatic and cultural conditions, and the collaboration with the future users play? On this issue, curator Mea Hoffmann talks to the Lebanese-Armenian architect Arine Aprahamian. Aprahamian’s work includes the conception of dwellings for extreme climates and her interdisciplinary research into materiality and spatial perception. The digital talk will be held in place of the lecture originally announced for 26 October 2023 at the Vitra Schaudepot.
