Eric Schuldenfrei – The Films of Charles & Ray Eames | TALK (EN)Along with furniture design, the production of films was an important area of work for Charles and Ray Eames. Over the course of their joint career, they created over 100 films that addressed topics of everyday life, architecture, design and science and demonstrated a poetic and whimsical exploration of objects, rituals and people. Educational films like »Powers of Ten« were also a playful way for the Eameses to experiment with new visual languages and technologies. Eric Schuldenfrei, author of a standard work on the Eameses’ cinematic oeuvre, discusses a selection of films and some of the most captivating excerpts. Free admission |
